Who?
Who are you?
We are an undergraduate student organization from McGill University. We operate under the AUS (Arts Undergraduate Society).
Wait…what’s McGill?
McGill University is a research university located in snowy but cool (PUN!) Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is one of the oldest universities in Canada and was founded in 1821, 46 years before the Canadian Confederation. Geeks, and over proud parents refer to it as the Harvard of the North. Don’t do that unless you want Becky to slap you in the face and call you lame.
So wtf is anthropology?
The study of people, and their cultures, alive or dead. Yada yada yada…
What do you do?
We strive to bring together the students in our faculty for fun stuff and good times. We are also nerds and want everyone to enjoy the nerdy stuff we stumble upon while being generally nerdy.
Who do I complain to?
We are students from the anthropology department but we are not the anthropology department itself and thus our opinions are our own and do not necessarily represent the opinions of the McGill Anthropology Department, or any single member of the ASA (except maybe Becky since this was all her idea. Yeah, let’s blame Becky). Send any thoughtful complaints or praises to anthropology.asa.mcgill@gmail.com
What is your favourite bone?
I’m glad you asked. It is the terrestrial mammal tibia because the top looks like a triangle and the bottom like a butterfly.
